BMW E9x M3 Rear Suspension Kit
BMW E9x M3 Rear Suspension Kit
Wisefab BMW e9x rear suspension kit can be fitted to a variety of BMW models. E90, E91, E92, E81, E82, E87, E88 models. All metal components of the E90 rear suspension are made of high-strength steel, including sheet metal components, tubes, tube ends and rod end housings. Also for weight reduction and rigidity, all suspension links are designed as straight, tubular or box type. Uniball ends, no rubber bushings.
The M model is also available.
The link lengths are different between nonM and M. Shock absorbers and brakes can be used by both M and nonM as the components have connections for both.
Revised kinematics, not just dropped knuckles.
If the focus is more on performance, then the car may perform better with a lowered ride height, but then the factory designed kinematics would not work as they should. The kit would provide good kinematics with the car lowered: higher roll center, revised camber, anti-squat and bumpsteer for maximum grip.
Easy camber adjustment.
Since the upper links are straight tubular type, camber can be adjusted simply by changing their length.
Bump steer adjustment.
Bump steer can be adjusted by changing the position of the rod end in a slot.
Anti-squat adjustment option.
Ability to adjust anti-squat by changing the height of the front upper link on the upright. Can be done in less than 10 minutes at the trackside. Lowering the link would increase anti-squat, raising it would decrease anti-squat.
You can use the original wheel speed sensor (ABS sensor).
Accepts only M model or 336mm or larger brake discs.
Smaller brakes are not suitable.
The size of the wheel bearing should be 45x85x41
The minimum rim size is 17"
The kit includes:
- Adjustable upper coilover mounts, Formula Drift compliant.
- Knuckles with hardware.
- Lower control arms.
- Assembled tie rods.
- Brake adapters for M model brakes.
- 45mm coilover adapter sleeve.
- Installation guide.
Other components:
- This kit requires coilovers, to have enough space.
- Ground clearance is designed to be approximately 80mm from the front subframe to the ground.
- Depending on the rim width and ET, wider or flared fenders would be necessary.
- It is not necessary to modify the inner wheel arches with tyres up to 635 mm in diameter (215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18 etc.).
- The minimum rim diameter is 17”.
- Recommended rear spacing is ~135mm (7" ET45; 8" ET35; 9" ET20).
- If ET is smaller, the wheels remain more towards the outside, if ET is larger, it is necessary to use spacers.
- The kit is designed and manufactured in such a way that after installation and adjustment of the tip it is immediately ready for use.
