This shifter is designed primarily for motorsport use, we suggest pairing it with the solid engine mounts and gear shifter mounts. The shifter offers a very short gear travel and features a gear lock mechanism. You can limit the gear travel by adjusting the lock mechanism. The gears that can be set to lock are reverse, first and second, or fifth and sixth. These gears can be unlocked at the push of a button allowing the shifter to travel fully in all directions. The shifter base plate provides full coverage, no water or smoke will pass through the bottom of the shifter mounting hole.
The gearbox is designed for BMW gearboxes, but with small modifications it can be adapted to other car models. Please contact us if you need more information.
